The customer/client hereby agrees that this transaction constitutes an electronic transaction as defined in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 and that a binding agreement has been concluded between the Hotel and the customer/client authorising the Hotel to deduct or to debit the credit card for payments for services rendered to the customer/client. The hand signature of the customer/client shall not be required for authorisation purposes. All rates are quoted in South African Rands and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate. The rates are inclusive of taxes and levies charged in their respective countries, except for South African hotels which exclude the required 1% Tourism levy that will be charged. These rates are only available for transient business and are not available for groups or conferences. 9 rooms or more constitutes a group and rates are available on request. Rates are subject to change without prior notification. Transit/Pliant accommodation is available as follows: Day-Use rooms can be reserved from10am till 4pm subject to availability. Charge R 450.00 per room. Should you require a guaranteed check in before 2 pm this can be accommodated subject to availability at an additional charge of R 450.00. Should you require a late check out this can be accommodated, subject to availability at an additional charge of R 450.00 till 4pm, thereafter a full applicable rate will be charged. All our Room Types accommodate a maximum of two Guests. Exceptions to this are as follows: Hotel Sky Sandton Hotel: Twin rooms (Room with two three quarter beds) can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two Children under 13 years old. Executive Rooms (with a sleeper couch) can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two Children under 13 years old. Hotel Sky Cape Town Hotel: Twin rooms (Room with two double beds) can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two Children under 13 years old. Bunk Beds (Room with four three quarter beds) can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two Children under 13 years old or 4 Adults, 13 years and older. Executive Rooms (with a sleeper couch) can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two adults and two Children under 13 years old. Children under 13 (maximum 2) stay free when sharing with their Parents where Family rooms are available. Meals will be charged separately. Children 13 years and older are deemed as Adults. Check in time is from 2pm, and rooms should be vacated by 10am. Due to the immigration Amendment Act no.19 of 2004 (amended 2014), positive personal identification will be required at the time of making your booking or upon check-in. A valid Passport or an ID Document will be acceptable. To guarantee the reservation, the following must be provided: Deposit of the first night's accommodation, or as indicated on this confirmation of the reservation. Details of one of the following recognized credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Master Card or Visa. A Travel Agent Voucher or Company Purchase Order (the Travel Agent or Company must have valid credit facilities with Hotel to make use of this form of guarantee). The Hotel reserves the right to cancel non-guaranteed reservations at 6pm on the day of arrival, if a Travel Agent Voucher / Company Order / Credit Card authorization / Deposit has not been received, or as indicated on this confirmation of the reservation. A No-show fee of one night's stay will be charged for guaranteed reservations that are not cancelled 24 hours prior to the arrival date, or as indicated on this confirmation of the reservation. Non-Refundable Rates Certain rates require a non-refundable prepayment to be confirmed. Please check the Policies and Details when booking, to determine the payment policy. Reservations confirmed on a prepaid rate are in certain circumstances subject to 100% cancellation fee should they be modified or cancelled. Certain special promotions and rates carry their own terms and conditions which apply accordingly. Non-Refundable Rates - Payment going through our Payment Gateway will secure full payment when making the booking. Booking will be non-refundable on cancellation or amendments. Payment for any reservations or other services for which fees may be charged by Hotels shall be payable by you on departure from the hotel in question or, where applicable, shall be debited to your account after departure. Our Corporate and Preferred STO Partner Agreements will supersede these generic Hotel Sky Terms & Conditions relating to deposits, payments, and cancellations for bookings. Standard conditions of residency will apply for all Guests. Meal’s inclusions are advised under the Rate field. If no mention of a Meal is referenced this means the room is reserved on a room only basis.
